Winner of the draw to visit China is announced

Congratulations go to Andy Kai Yip Man of Richmond, BC, Canada, whose name was randomly drawn to join an ICC China Team sometime during 2012! As our 2011 winner, Andy will travel to China to see ICC’s projects as part of a scheduled China Team, working with ICC staff and volunteers to provide love, hope and opportunity for the children in care.

Our thanks to Andy and all walkers around the world who each registered using ICC’s online fundraising platform and raised $500 or more to be eligible for the draw.

• Set a fundraising goal and share it. People want to help you achieve your goal.
• Share your story as to why you’re involved with Walk the Wall, why it’s important to you, and how the stories of abandoned and disabled children in China has impacted your life.
• Make a list of all the people you know and ask them to make a donation.
• Ask the first person who makes a donation to make a generous donation. Then encourage others to match it.
